Project

Quantifying, modelling, and optimizing Energy & Water use for Stanford Health Care and patients with cancer

Project Description

This project focuses on water sustainability in healthcare to evaluate water use and efficiency to find areas to reduce water waste. The data that will result from this project will serve as an essential baseline for which future projects may use as a comparison.

The team will track individual radiation oncology treatment machine water usage and identify areas of potential improvement and compare water use among treatment machines.

Impact

Establish baseline water use metrics for radiation oncology equipment
