Project

Returning Unused and Unopened Medical Supplies 

Project Description

Jacqueline will measure wasted supplies from hospital rooms across a variety of hospital settings to determine the amount of waste, the impact of this waste, and the scenarios and processes in which unused clinical supplies are wasted from a Patient Care room.

Jacqueline will develop a baseline assessment of supply waste from 3-5 clinical areas by room type and quantify materials wasted.

Impact

Summary of 38 nurses surveys or interviews re: potential solutions to supply waste. Jacquie present findings to the Shared Leadership Council.
